Mr. Farry was the chief of Military Justice at both Kirtland AFB and the United States Air Force Academy. Mr. Farry has tried numerous courts-martial and was one of the first Area Defense Counsel in the Air Force. Mr. Farry's reserve service at Peterson AFB, focused on the defense of actions under the Federal Tort Claims Act and the prosecution of recoveries under the Hospital Recovery Act. Mr. Farry was recognized for saving the United States and its taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars through implementation of an aggressive claims handling practice.

Mr. Farry has extensive experience in defending the State of Colorado, its employees and departments in 42 U.S.C. 9 1983 actions. Mr. Farry has represented the State of Colorado in over 50 cases in the last eight years. Most tj 1983 cases are filed in federal court. Mr.Farry has had about fourteen 5 1983 appeals briefed in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Two significant recently reported cases are: Serna v. CDOC, Novak and Gasko, 455 F.3d 1146 (10" Cir. 2006) and Ahmad v. Furlong, 435 F.3d 1196 (loth Cir. 2006).

Private Practice, State of Colorado, 1983 - Present.

Mr. Farry's practice emphasizes defense of professional malpractice, personal injury litigation, first party bad faith tort claims, complex coverage actions,-, litigation of PIP disputes. He has tried over 150 jury trials and courts-martial. Mr. Farry's trial experience includes defense of first degree murder cases, complex first party bad faith suits, and prosecution and defense of employment and EEO suits in both state and federal courts as well as the defense of 4 1983 cases in federal court.

Personal - Mr. Farry has been married to Jan for 37 years. He has two children, Christopher,34, and Caitlin, 19.

Personal
